There are generally two situations where the pressure is uneven during the indentation process: one is slightly uneven. With the development of society and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, consumers not only demand the internal quality of goods, but also put forward higher requirements and uneven pressure on the packaging of goods when choosing and purchasing goods.
We know that indentation is a line mark caused by folding, squeezing, or wrinkling. The indentation principle is that cardboard is pressed between two fixed surfaces (concave and convex), causing damage to the internal fiber structure of the paper, resulting in partial layering of the paper and the formation of concave and convex line marks on the outside. The other is severe inequality. When the cardboard with indentation connections is folded at 90 degrees or 180 degrees, the fiber bonding (cohesion) inside the paper is completely separated. In the manufacturing process of folding cardboard boxes, line marks are a controlled deformation on the cardboard. Nowadays, indentation technology has become one of the important means to achieve packaging design. It not only plays an important role in the ultimate quality and effect of packaging, but also greatly improves the artistic effect of printed materials, endows them with new functions, and has become an important means of value-added and promotional printing. It is also possible that it is influenced by the direction of the paper fibers, and the indentation effect is ideal when the paper is horizontal and perpendicular to the cutting line. This includes both requirements for product packaging and decoration design, as well as requirements for the quality of packaging and post press processing.
1、 Common indentation problems
The fully automatic horizontal flat press die-cutting machine has similar paper feeding and receiving principles to offset printing machines. The faults are not analyzed here, but the common problems in the die-cutting department are only analyzed below. If there is a slight unevenness in the pressure, it may be due to the uneven distribution of the die cutting knife and wire (steel knife, steel wire), which causes the dynamic platform to be subjected to force deviation during die cutting. At this time, a balanced knife line should be installed on the die cutting plate to ensure that the platform is evenly stressed. If there is a severe uneven pressure phenomenon at the four corners of the platform, it is mainly caused by the inconsistent height of the four connecting rod swing rods supporting the moving platform. At this time, the cover of the die-cutting base should be opened to check whether the swing rods are worn. If the wear is severe, it needs to be replaced. Otherwise, the four pressure adjustment inclined irons need to be adjusted until the pressure is consistent. The process of compacting a part of the printed material to create marks that give it a certain degree of unevenness in space is called indentation. Therefore, indentation technology is increasingly being taken seriously by manufacturers and its scope of use is also becoming wider and wider. The entire process of indentation is: design - proofing - layout - installation - padding - startup - cleaning and rectification - finished product. However, in the die-cutting and indentation process, a series of problems often arise that affect the smooth production. Therefore, this article takes the common problems of horizontal flat die-cutting machines in die-cutting and indentation production as an example to analyze, hoping to be helpful for actual production.
